You were at fault, but do not have replacement vehicle cover
As the driver who was responsible for the accident, if you don’t have insurance which includes replacement vehicle cover, you’ll need to pay for the cost of a rental vehicle.
You were not at fault
The good news if you were not at fault in the accident is that you can get a rental car at no cost to you with an accident replacement vehicle. This is regardless of whether you have insurance or not.
So how do you get the rental vehicle at no cost? Simple – the cost of renting the vehicle is paid for by the insurance company of the driver who was at fault. You don’t need to pay a deposit or provide a credit card and then try and get reimbursement from the insurance company either.
